SPAM® Classic Air-Fried Nuggets




  • 1 can SPAM® Classic
  • All purpose Flour
  • Beaten eggs
  • Bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/6 cup red wine vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • 1/6 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/6 cup water
  • 3/4 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 paprika
  • Hot sauce (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • Pinch each of dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried thyme


  1. Slice SPAM® Classic into 8-12 equal blocks.
  2. Place the flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate bowls and line them up in this order.
  3. Dip a block of SPAM® Classic into the flour and coat, dusting off the excess. Dip this piece in the beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs. Repeat this process for all SPAM® Classic blocks.
  4. Depending on the model, pre-heat your air-fryer at 180 to 200 degree Celsius.
  5. Arrange the nuggets in the fryer and cook for 15 mins or until the breading has turned crispy and golden brown.
  6. To make the BBQ Sauce: mix together the ketchup, brown sugar, red/white wine vinegar,
  7. Worcestershire sauce, water, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  8. To make the Yogurt Ranch: mix together the plain yogurt and pinches of herbs and spices listed
  9. above.
  10. Serve SPAM® Classic Air-Fried Nuggets with BBQ Sauce and Yogurt Ranch dipping sauces.
