Confucius once said: "You're only as good as your last Chop Suey. So make yourself extra good. Toss in some SPAM® Lite." Okay, maybe we paraphrased a little. But you have to admit that wiser words have never been said.
½ can SPAM® Lite , slice then cut into strips (about 5mm)
30ml cooking oil
3g minced garlic
1 small onion, sliced
156g broccoli florets
1 small carrot, sliced oblique
312g cabbage, chopped
78g button mushrooms, halved
78g young corn, halved
78g sliced bell peppers
118ml oyster sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
Splash of water if dry (optional depending on quality of vegetables)
Cornstarch slurry to thicken sauce (optional)
1.Heat oil in pan, sauté garlic and onion.
2.Add SPAM® Lite strips and sauté for another minute.
3.Add broccoli and carrots, cook for a minute.
4.Add cabbage; and cook for another minute.
5.Add the rest of the ingredients and season with oyster sauce.
